OVERVIEW

 This two-day interactive training program equips participants with essential skills to effectively identify problems, analyze root causes, generate solutions, and make wellinformed decisions in the workplace. Through practical tools, real-life case studies, and group activities, participants will develop a structured approach to problem solving and decision making that enhances productivity, fosters critical thinking, and supports better outcomes in both individual and team settings.

 

LEARNING OUTCOMES

 By the end of this 2-day training, participants will be able to:

1.    Identify and define problems clearly using structured methodologies.

2.    Analyze root causes effectively with tools such as the 5 Whys and Fishbone Diagram.

3.    Generate creative and practical solutions through brainstorming and innovation techniques

4.    Evaluate options and make sound decisions using decision-making tools like the Decision Matrix and Cost-Benefit Analysis.

5.    Apply critical thinking to assess risks and impacts before implementation.

6.    Work collaboratively in teams to solve problems and present solutions confidently.

7.    Develop action plans to address workplace challenges with clarity and accountability.

o Root Cause Analysis (5 Whys, Fishbone Diagram)

o SWOT Analysis

o Pareto Principle (80/20 Rule)

o Process Mapping & Flowcharts

• Practical Exercise:

o Case study on identifying and analyzing workplace problems

Day 2 – Decision Making Techniques
